Scrapbook Royalty is honored to be a part of the "Savannah Crop Out Cancer" to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society along with Team in Training. Today there are very few people that do not know someone that has been affected by some form of cancer. In 2007, over 135,000 people in the U.S. were diagnosed with a blood related cancer. There are currently over 820,000 people in the U.S. living with a blood related cancer. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is fighting for each of these patients and their families. The Society has come a long way… The five year survival rate for Leukemia in 1987 was less than 55% and we are now at 95%. Lymphoma has gone from 52% to 63% and Myeloma from 12% to nearly 35%. This has all been possible due to the money raised by The Society.

We will make your experience worth every penny! Yes, the day is about friends, old and new, and scrapbooking your favorite memories, but the day is also about making a difference! We have taken out all the stops to create a fabulous day for you and now it is up to you to make it a fabulous day for those suffering from cancer and their families!

I am a single mother of two children and I have lived in Savannah for 11 years now, and consider Savannah my home. I work full time and use my spare time to work on my love of scrapbooking. I first started scrapbooking when my grandmother mentioned it to me as a possible hobby several years ago. All it took was that one suggestion and I was anxious to learn more! Preserving pictures for my children and future generations seemed natural to me, and I started making albums for my family. What started as making scrapbook pages with pictures, slowly turned into more when I became a demonstrator for Stampin' Up! I started making my own cards, invitations and personalized gifts. I love to look at typical household items and alter them into cute items that are unique. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the things that I have learned over the last several years, and I enjoy sharing this with others. Birthday Box: Why write birthdays down on a new calendar year after year? This demonstration will have you thinking "inside" the box. This class will show you how to alter common household products into a work of art, and keep your birthdays in one handy place! Example of Birthday Box project.

Card Making Class

Flower Card. Candle Card Butterfly Card Snowman Card Flower Card: Create greeting cards using 3-D methods to make the card "pop". The demonstration on this card will show to create the "pop" factor, as well as how to add a little bling to the card for added decoration. Candle Card: This demonstration includes more 3-D methods, as well as taking a rubber stamp and using it in an alternative way. Great way to think "outside the box". Butterfly Card: Create a beautiful greeting card with stamps, brads and ribbon. Add some flowers, and you have a unique card that the recipient will love! Snowman Card: This demonstration shows another way to think outside. Add some glitter for extra pizzazz and you have another unique card!

We will reward you for your hard work! Minimum donation: each participant must raise a minimum of $100 in order to attend. We will help you achieve this goal! We will have silent auction and raffles, for every $10 you raise you will get one ticket to win fabulous prized donated by Scrapbook Manufacturers and local businesses.

Scrapbookers are a unique group. They are sentimental, caring people who love to get together and crop! It is a natural fit for them to have a great time while raising money for charity. That being said, we are taking donations of hand made items to add to the silent auction.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE REGISTERED PARTICIPANT TO CONTRIBUTE! Everyone is welcome to donate. Anything hand made qualifies. It can be a mini book, a necklace, a scarf… the possibilities are endless. Get creative and get recognized for your creativity!
