Crop for Susan G. Komen last weekend. The event was held in conjunction

was amazing! She handmade tons of awesome goodies for the girls as well
as tons of awesome decor! The food was wonderful. Everyone said they
wanted to do it again next year! We will be announcing the date for

20-22, 2009: The 3 Day Crop to benefit Susan G. Komen, French Valley,
Temecula, CA
Scrapbook Royalty hosted its 1st annual 3 Day Crop
for Susan G. Komen last weekend.
The event was the brain child of SBR's Director of Operations, Sheila
Goldsberry and was modeled after the 3 Day Walk that Susan G. Komen
puts on all over the country every year. It was just amazing! So, at
the end of the day this inaugural event raised $12000 for Susan G
Komen!
Sheila spearheaded this event and she was amazing! she handmade tons of

10th, 2009: Scrap'n Support Crop to benefit Pink-link, Valencia, CA
Elena traveled to Valencia to host a wonderful
event for Pink-Link.org. The ladies all had a great time and the
feeling of charity and camaraderie was definitely in the air. In total
from the fundraising effort ahead of time and the awesome raffle prizes
at the event, we were able to raise $1,500 for this very worthy cause.

12th, 2009: Croppin For Our Troops, Hickory, NC
SBR Raised $1000 for Blue Star Mothers to send
care packages to our troops overseas!
Join us for a patriotic good time at the first
annual Croppin for our Troops! The day will be filled with scrapping,
door prizes, raffles, silent auctions, and a scrapbook yard sale. Money
raised from this event will be used by Blue Star Mothers of North
Carolina Foothills Chapter to purchase items and to ship care packages
to overseas military units.

August 29th, 2009: Operation Showers of Appreciation,
Vista, CA
This event was small but mighty. Thirteen
participants managed to raise a total of approximately $1500 as well as
collected a ton of wonderful supplies for military families that are
expecting new babies!
Leah Fung taught a beautiful
class. Miss Vista and Miss Teen Vista were there to greet the guests.
And Elena had the Canon Printers there for printing galore. Visit our

31st 2009: World's Largest Crop Attempt: Orlando, FL - CHA Craft
SuperShow
Benefiting the Leeza Gibbons Memory
Foundation.
Elena and a whole team of volunteers traveled to
Orlando, FL to try for a Guiness World Record. We didn't get it with
208 croppers but the event was still a huge success. We raised
awareness and $8000 for the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation.
Provocraft, Flowersoft, Donna Salazar/Pinecone Press, C&T
publishing, Traci Bautista, and Glue Arts were on hand to do demos and
make and takes, KaiserCraft donated a table of supplies to help raise
money and Canon was there for free photo printing. All in all a great
time for everyone!

Faces Retreat attendee Karla came and shared her story with
us. She told us about how the retreat had changed her and given her
self confidence to face the world. She was born with a facial defect
and her father recounted how after the camp, she was a completely
different person. Its charities like Angel
Faces that are out there making a difference in the world and

Charity Fiskamittee and our current effort is to collect blank handmade
Mother's Day and Father's Day cards to send to the military men and
women overseas. We want them to receive them in time for them to send

14th - 15th, 2009: Royal Slumber Crop, San Marcos, CA
The Royal Slumber Crop was a huge success! We are getting a final total
and it has surpassed our $20,000 goal. We raised a whopping
$26,808.41!!! There was so much going on at all times and the fairy fly
bys just kept coming! The two charities were on hand to talk about the
good they do and kick off the event that is sure to be touted as the
Scrapbooking Fundraiser of the Year here in San Diego!
We'll be hosting our annual crop to benefit the Cancer Coping Center and the San Marcos Boys and Girls Club.
You won't want to miss this amazing two day
event. And YES, it is now TWO DAYS of cropping and
fun!!! This year we will have 4 amazing celebrity
instructors: Leah Fung, Stephanie Ackerman, Donna Salazar, and Johanna
Peterson. They will be offering full classes for you to enjoy.

was honored to once again be a part of An Unforgettable Crop For Kids. We
raised a total of raised $12,000 for this amazing event held in
Redlands, California. The mission of The
Unforgettables is to encourage communities to recognize the
financial trauma which is often associated with death of a child;
enable low-income families to give their children a dignified burial;
empower communities to memorialize children who have died; and educate
parents and children's caregivers to confront, control and conquer the
primary risks to our children's health and wholeness.

Scrapbook Royalty is honored to be a part of the "Crop for a Cure" to
benefit the Young
Survival Coalition (YSC) along with three Moms from Duluth,
MN who had the bright idea to harness our love for scrapbooking and all
things scrapbook related and use it to help our charity.

We invite you to join us at for a day of
scrapbooking to help fight breast cancer. The YSC is the only
international, non-profit network of breast cancer survivors and
supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues that are unique to
young women and breast cancer. The day will be filled with fabulous

12th, 2008: Invisible Children Crop, Redondo Beach, CA
We had a great time at this event. Carol Freeland worked tirelessly
with Scrapbook Royalty to put on this event to raise more money for
Invisible Children. In fact, with small number of participants this
event raised $2700!! We were very happy with this amount given the
economy. It has truly been a struggle to fundraise this year and we
appreciated all of the participants, sponsors and donors that made this
event a success!

28th, 2008: Pierce Family Crop, Carlsbad, CA
The event helped raise $3600 for the Pierce Family to get back on their
feet.
GySgt Troy Pierce USMC Ret served his country and
the US Marine Corps for 22 years with his lovely bride Jana always by
his side. Upon his retirement from the Corps, Troy began experiencing
severe symptoms of a digestive disorder. Eight agonizing months later,
Troy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He immediately underwent
surgery to remove a malignant tumor and than began a long regime of
chemotherapy and radiation. After two years of fighting pancreatic
cancer, Troy passed away on April 7, 2008.
The event is sponsored by and being held at Ever After Scrapbooks in Carlsbad.

16th, 2008: Cancer Coping Center, San Diego, CA
It's not always about fundraising, sometimes it is just about giving of
your self to make someone else's day a bit brighter! A few of the SBR
committee members met in the lobby of Scripps Encinitas Hospital to do
a free handmade card make and take for anyone that wanted to do it.
This was to celebrate Cancer Survivors month. It was so much fun!! We
were lucky to have donations from Kaiser Crafts, Quick Quotes, and
Rusty Pickle on hand to offer the participants and let their creativity
loose! Thank you to everyone who participated -- surely these handmade

We raised a grand total of $3664 to help the Tyree Family get back on
their feet!
Priscilla Tyree was a stay at home mom
caring for their four children, one of which is still in diapers.
George was a wonderful husband to Priscilla and a devoted father to his
children. One day George had been experiencing very strong headaches,
three days later and George passed away. George's unexpected and sudden
death has left his family devastated. Please join us at The Red Bee for a From the Hearth Crop

26th, 2008: Ever After Bus Tour
We had a wonderful time at this event. It was our first time hosting
with Ever After and the employees, Camille, John and Sheila made our
debut wonderful. We were raising money for Susan G Komen to kick off
our partnership with Ever After for Survivor Crop 2008. We will be
hosting the silent auction with as many awesome items as we can get our
hands on. The women attending the bus tour were generous and very nice.
We raised a total of $250 which is a great start to what we hope will
be a ton of money! The lucky lady who won the Chatter Box Trunk was
Joan Pryce, congratulations! |

2nd, 2008: Rebuilding Memories Crop for the Victims of the California
Wildfires
The fire victims event raised $1600! We collected photos from the
victims' families and friends and got them printed, we cropped to make
their albums as a group and helped them rebuild their memories, helped
them replace scrapbooking supplies that were lost, taught classes on
how and where to back up, save, and store and scan photos and layouts.
In addition, we had a photographer to take family portraits, a fire
fighter to teach fire safety and an insurance consultant to explain the
details about protecting your home and irreplaceable possessions.

On December 8th and 9th, Scrapbook Royalty was so proud to host Crop
for Kelly, a two-day crop at the Reflections Retreat Home in Oronoco
Minnesota to benefit Kelly
Kruger. Kelly is a brave woman who has been battling
inflammatory breast cancer. The event raised almost $4000! It was held
by her friend Melissa Eggler who organized a truly touching event.
